Why Ombre' Brows and not Microblading?

I started in this industry doing Microblading and then I discovered Ombre' Brows also known as shading which now 98% of my clients choose Ombre' Brows

As you will see below, the benefits of Ombre' Brows such a bigselling point when speaking with clients.

Learning:

Ombre Brows for one is much easier to learn and more importantly has much more benefit for your client.

Retention:

Depending on your skin type, Ombre' Brows can last anywhere from 2-3 years! Microblading has been known to last around 1-2 years but needs constant touch ups.

Pain Level:

Ombre' brows is much less invasive than Microblading. During the Ombre' Procedure I have had clients fall asleep on my table!

Method:

Ombre' is done with a machine and needle cartridge working on the very surface of the skin as where microblading is done with a hand held tool putting individual cuts in to the skin.

Healing:

Ombre' Brows Heals 40% lighter after initial session. It heals like a powder makeup look. Microblading can tend to heal with blurry strokes. For healed results go to my instagram page @thebroweffect and click the Healed Brows button!

Skin Types:

Ombre' Brows is great for all skin types as to where Microblading is limited to dry or normal skin. If a client has oily skin then Microblading will NOT stay.

Touch Ups:

Ombre' brows only needs 1 touch up session 5-8 weeks after the initial session. Microblading clients can experience faster fading and needing to come back for touch ups. However, getting Microblading touch ups often can cause scaring because Microblading is done by putting cuts in to the skin.

Like everyone, we all have our uphill battles and challenges where sometimes we feel that life handed us a bad deck of cards. However, I refused to let my past become my future.

At age 5, my mother and I fled Cuba by boat to escape the castro regime. We were lost at sea for 6 days where we would be found by the U.S. Coast Guard and taken to Guantanamo bay to live for 5 months. Eventually we were brought to the USA with no resources but a good friends closet to sleep in. 

Growing up I always had a dream to become financially free and to one day be able to take care of my mother. After working multiple jobs at a time, starting and failing multiple small businesses, and eventually getting fired from my 40k per year job, I gave myself a shot in the beauty industry.

When I started in permanent makeup, I started from zero. I had no celebrity following, and no additional money for advertising. I knew that my success would depend completely on my work ethic and my willingness to succeed. I fully committed and started my new business "The Brow Effect". 

I worked as a bartender, Uber Driver, and did liquor promotions to help me pay for training and my small room in the back of a tanning salon where over time I slowly built my clientele through referrals and word of mouth.
